Each canvas has many coats of “rain sessions” on it. After each session, the canvases were left outdoors for a few days. Rain, then sun, stars, the moon in her different phases, the winds, made a chemistry on the canvas and conducted a sort of alchemy. Metaphorically, the sky left its mark on the earth. The rain did beautiful performances and danced beautifully on all the canvases. The heaviness of the drops of water and the impact that was left on them was beautiful to witness. Every rainy day was different in terms of intensity. While painting, I danced around the canvas feeling the touch of the water on my face and my body. I see the canvas as an extension of my own skin, in direct dialogue with the environment.
